Perfect Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick butter, softened
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 bag Guittard Super Cookie Chips
Maldon salt for sprinkling
Preheat Oven to 350
Place parchment paper on two baking sheets. Combine flour, baking soda and Kosher salt and set aside.
Add sugars, butter, egg and vanilla to a bowl and mix until combined. Add half the flour mixture and mix until just combined. Repeat with remaining flour mixture.
Roll dough into 12 golf ball sized balls and place on the baking sheets. Sprinkle with Maldon Salt. Bake for 14 minutes, rotating the trays halfway through.
Let cookies cool on baking trays for five minutes before transferring to cooling racks.
